1. Introduction

Bridge Exhibitions is an international sales, marketing, event management and market development business created by Arabian World Events and Orchestra Media. This policy explains how we process personal data when you contact us, work with us, attend or exhibit at an event we sell, represent or manage, or visit this website.

We are the controller of the personal data described here. Where we act for an event organiser, that organiser may be the controller of data collected for their event and we may act as their processor. In those cases their own privacy notice will also apply.

2. How to contact us

Questions about this policy, or requests about your personal data, can be sent tooffice@bridgeexhibitions.com or posted to Bridge Exhibitions, Dubai Media City, Concord Tower, 6th Floor, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

3. The information we collect

Information you give us directly. This includes:

  • Your name, company, job title, email address and telephone number
  • The content of enquiries you send through this website or by email
  • Details needed to arrange participation in an event, including exhibitor and delegate information, stand or pavilion requirements, and billing details
  • Any other information you choose to share with us in the course of a commercial relationship

We do not collect payment card details through this website. Where payment is taken for an event, it is handled by the organiser or by a payment provider under their own terms.

Information collected automatically when you visit this website.

  • Your IP address, approximate location, device type, browser and operating system
  • Pages viewed, links followed, time spent and how you arrived at the site
  • Anonymised recordings of how visitors move through pages, collected by Hotjar and used to improve the site. Hotjar does not capture the contents of form fields.
  • Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics

Information from other sources.

  • Business contact details from public and professional sources, including company websites, industry directories and professional networks, used to make relevant business approaches
  • Information shared with us by event organisers, partners and group companies where you have participated in an event we sell, represent or manage

We do not seek special category data such as health, religious or political information. Where an event requires it, for example an accessibility requirement, we ask for explicit consent and use it only for that purpose.

4. How we use your information, and our legal basis

  • Responding to enquiries. To answer questions about our services and to follow up on a conversation you started. Legal basis: your consent in making the enquiry, or our legitimate interest in responding to it.
  • Delivering our services. To sell, market and manage events, arrange exhibitor and pavilion participation, handle logistics, raise invoices and provide customer service. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.
  • Business development. To contact people at organisations we believe have a professional interest in the events we represent. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or consent where the law requires it. Every message includes a way to opt out.
  • Improving the website. To understand how the site is used and make it work better. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
  • Photography and recording at events. Images and footage captured at events we manage may be used to promote those events and our work. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw, or legitimate interest where the recording is of a general audience rather than an identifiable individual.
  • Legal and accounting obligations. To keep records we are required to keep. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data with:

  • Service providers acting on our instructions, including our website host, email delivery provider, analytics provider and IT suppliers. They may only use the data to provide the service and are bound to protect it.
  • Arabian World Events and Orchestra Media, the group companies that created Bridge, where it is necessary to deliver a service to you.
  • Event organisers and their appointed suppliers, where you are participating in an event we sell, represent or manage, and only so far as needed to arrange that participation.
  • Authorities or third parties where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to protect the rights or safety of any person.
  • A buyer or successor, if the business or part of it is sold or reorganised.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. This website uses them for two things: keeping the site working as you move between pages, and analytics through Hotjar, which helps us see which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck. Hotjar also records anonymised sessions, meaning a replay of how a visitor moved through the pages. It does not capture what you type into form fields.

The analytics cookies only run if you accept them. When you first arrive we ask, and nothing analytical is loaded until you choose. If you decline, Hotjar is never loaded at all. Your choice is remembered for twelve months, and you can change it whenever you like using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Guidance for every major browser is at aboutcookies.org. Blocking them may affect how parts of the site behave.

7. Other websites

This site links to websites we do not control, including event organiser sites and social platforms. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Please read their own privacy notices before sharing anything with them.

8. Security and how long we keep data

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls on the systems that hold it. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

We keep personal data for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. Where there has been no engagement with us for four years, we delete or anonymise the data, unless we are required to keep it longer for legal, tax or accounting reasons.

9. Where your data is stored

Bridge is based in the United Arab Emirates. Some of our service providers process data in the European Union and the United States. Where personal data moves between countries we take steps to make sure it remains protected to the standard described in this policy, including using providers who commit to recognised safeguards.

10. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for business development. Write to office@bridgeexhibitions.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or the EEA, you also have the right to object to processing, to ask us to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable format, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your national data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, how we use them and who we share them with, to request deletion, to opt out of any sale of personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you are in the United Arab Emirates, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

11. Children

Our services are aimed at business audiences and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always published on this page.
